Updates for all platforms
Updates for iOS, macOS and Android were released today with a new feature (credit to one of our users for the idea) and some improvements to existing functionalities. We also updated the design for alerts within the app, just some rounded corners and a darker background color (except for Dark Mode), we hope you like it as much as we did :)
New feature
We were recently contacted by a user that wished their custom block list were synchronized between different devices, which wasn't really possible until this update. With the new update, any changes in the block or unblock lists (adding or removing a hostname) will be synchronized to every device that shares that same subscription. This applies when sharing the same Apple ID or Google Play account on two or more devices, which was already supported for sharing a single subscription plan, and now also supports custom lists sharing.
Faster
When talking about apps, who doesn't like speed? We sure do, and that's why we also made some improvements to make the user experience better and faster in the following features:
- On the main screen, it takes a lot less time to enable or disable the "Block Trackers" and "Block Threats" options.
- In the alerts tab, when creating an exception for a hostname that was blocked, you will also notice a huge speed gain.
- In the third tab, adding or removing a hostname from one of the Web Filter lists (Unblocked sites and Blocked sites) is a lot faster (and also sync'ed between devices!).
