Updated trackers

Earlier today we added 139 trackers to the Web Filter, as you can find in the changelog inside the app. We are also preparing more updates to the backend servers and the app, as mentioned in an earlier post, to include advanced features for those who wish to have more control over the Web Filter.

Advanced features

Our backend firewall already blocks trackers and threats that we find on the internet, but to make it more customizable, we will introduce a couple of advanced features to let the users configure extra hostnames to block and also to whitelist a hostname that they no longer want to block. These features will be called Blocked sites and Unblocked sites, respectively. This update will also include a new iOS app version that we plan on rolling it out later this month. Here's a couple of screenshots as a preview of the new version:

Well, that's it for today's post, we will keep it a bit shorter than usual so we can get back to working on these new features! Follow @spod_us on Twitter to get notified about these updates.
